Quirk #1: I am a clean freak! You will always find spotless toilets and floors at my house. I really love seeing the lines in the carpet after I vacuum. And I can't stand to see water spots on the mirror--they must go! I make up beds every day!
Quirk #2: I care nothing about organization! My house is spotless, but please don't look inside my drawers. My closet is pretty organized, thanks to Mike. Yep, I'm the cleaner, he's the organizer. Oh, and if you ever look inside my purse/bag, you might not ever find your way back. It's pretty bad.
Quirk #3: Actually, this really isn't a quirk, but something that's very true: I think I have ADD. I might be looking at you while you are speaking, but my mind might be planning dinner. It drives Mike crazy. He will finish talking, and I will ask something, and he will ask, "Were you not listening to anything I just said?". Nope...I was probably thinking about what the kids will wear in their Christmas pictures!
#4: I like pasta. I like shrimp. I DO NOT like pasta and shrimp combined.
#5: Okay, I know I said I'm not organized. And that is very true. However, I do like to arrange the kids' books by seasons and holidays.
#6: I don't like to talk or smile when I get up in the morning. I try to be civil for the kids, but its HARD!!

Trick or Treat!
Below are pictures from Emma's preschool Halloween party, the playgroup's party, and trick-or-treating! Emma loves trick-or-treating, but it took Gabe a few houses before he got the hang of it. It was so cute--he would climb out of the wagon, grab his tools, and march up to the door. And if the candy bowl was within his reach, he would stick his little hand in the bowl to try and swipe a few extra pieces! I made treat bags for the spooks that came to our door, and Emma loved handing them out. There were only a few who were too scary for her, and she would give me the honor of handing them out!

Halloween Adventures!
Tonight was the final night of the zoo's Halloween party! Since Mike's feeling under the weather, my sister Tonya and I took the kids. It was really crowded, but they loved it! Emma was dressed up as a bunny rabbit, and she let Tonya do her makeup and she looked adorable! Gabe was Handy Manny. He did really well, because the zoo's Halloween party is all about kids--no scary stuff just mainly storybook characters. We also rode the carousel. Emma was so sick last week, and she was so excited to get out of the house and go to the zoo--it was all she could talk about all day! Below are the pictures from our adventure! You may notice that there are more pictures of Emma with the characthers then Gabe--he didn't want any part of that! He was content sitting in his wagon and checking everything out. Oh, and don't forget to watch the bunny video at the end--too cute!

Viva Las Vegas!
We had a really good time in Vegas! We stayed in the MGM Grand, which was really nice! It was also huge--it had 3 starbucks!! We walked the strip every night, touring all of the beautiful hotels! We ate a lot! We watched Cirque Du Soleil's Ka Wednesday night, and it was awesome! There is definitely a lot to do! And there's a lot of shopping! We had fun, but we were missing the kids so much by the time Wednesday rolled around. So needless to say, we were ready to get on that plane Thursday morning! When we got to our house, Emma ran up to us and hugged us, and Gabe wouldn't let me put him down. It was definitely good to be home.
Not that they didn't have fun while we were gone. They went to a pumpkin patch and picked out their pumpkins. Emma painted her pumpkin, and Gabe's. And they look really cute! They went on a hay ride at Aunt Robin's house, and had a bonfire. And the best part of all--mamaw took Gabe for a hair cut! Mom said he did horrible, but they managed to cut it. And it looks great! He HATES getting his hair cut, and I am so happy that mom took him this time!
Below are the pictures from our trip! Enjoy!

Our trip...
Mike and I are leaving tomorrow for Las Vegas! He is going there on a business trip, and I am tagging along! Mike's friend that he works with is going also, and his wife. I am so excited! I am a bit sad about leaving my babies! But they are going to be in good hands!
Last week, Emma was on fall break. And her nana and grandpa were in from Germany, so she was able to spend alot of time with them! It was a great week!

You know you live in the country when...
Today was Rineyville's Annual Homecoming Day. And of course, it has become our family tradition to watch the parade. Emma and Gabe loved it! And Mike and I both said that you know you are in the country when there are more tractors in the parade then anything else! ha ha. But we both love our little community!
